Yogi Adityanath is the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is an Indian Politicians and Priest. His real name is Ajay Singh Bisht. He also was known as Mahant Yoginath. His nickname is Yogi. He was born on 5 June 1972 at Panchur Distt. Pauri Garhwal Uttrakhand. His father Anand Singh Bisht was a Forest Ranger. His mother Savitri Devi is a homemaker. He was the second born in the family. He has four brothers and three sisters.

Yogi Adityanath completed his primary school in Pauri Uttrakhand. He has a Degree of bachelor’s in mathematics. He completed his college from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Uttrakhand.

Adityanath left his home and joined Ayodhya Ram Temple Movement in 1990. His spiritual guru is Sh. Mahant Avaidyanath Maharaj. At the age of 21, he became the head priest of Goraknath Math. He received the name YOGI ADITYANATH. He promoted to the rank of MAHANT or Head Priest, after the death of his teacher Avaidyanath on 12 September 2014.

In 1996 he became the in-charge of managing the election campaign for Mahant Adityanath. He started his political career in 1998 as became the youngest MP of Gorakhpur to the 12th Lok Sabha at the age of 26. He has been elected as an MP from Gorakhpur to the Lok Sabha in 1998, 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014. He worked as a member of  Consultative Committee, Ministry of Home Affairs and Departments like Committee on Foods, Civil Supplies, Public Distribution and its Sub-Committee on Department of Sugar and Edible Oil from 1998 to 1999. He was re-elected to 13th Lok Sabha[2nd term] and worked as the member of Consultative Committee, Ministry of Home Affairs and worked in Committee on Foods, Civil Supplies, Public Distribution. In 2014 he was re-elected to 14th Lok Sabha[3rd term]. He again worked as a member of Consultative Committee and Ministry of Home Affairs and worked in Committee on Government Assurances. He worked in Committee of Transport, Tourist, and Culture in 2009 when he was re-elected to the 15th Lok Sabha[4th Term]. In 2014, he was re-elected to the 16th Lok Sabha[5th Term] from Gorakhpur Constituency. He became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on 29 March 2017.

Yogi Adityanath was a prominent BJP campaigner in the 2017 Assembly Elections of Uttar Pradesh. After became the CM of Uttar Pradesh he banned Cow Smuggling, Tobacco, Pan and Gutka in the Govt. offices of UP. He has suspended more than 100 policemen in UP.

After becoming an MP for the first time his own youth wing called the HINDU YUVA VAHINI remains in news for violence activities. Yogi Adityanath is a firebrand BJP leader. He has actively spoken in the favor of Hindus. In 2006 he took up links between in NEPALI Maoists and Indian Leftist Parties as Key Campaign issue and encouraged Madhesi leaders to Oppose Maoism in Nepal. In March 2010, Yogi was one of the several BJP MP who defied the party whip on the WOMEN’S REVOLUTION BILL  in the Parliament. During the debate in the Indian Media 2015 Yogi was commented on the actor Shahrukh Khan that he was using the same language as the Pakistani Terroirist Hafiz Saeed. After the Terrorist attack on an Indian Airforce Base in PATHANKOT by Pakistani terrorist, He compared Pakistan to Satan. He also praised US President Donald Trump decision to enact a ban on citizen from seven Muslim Countries entering the US. He also called for India to adopt the same decision to tackle TERRORISM. Adityanath was involved in a PURIFICATION DRIVE that involved the conversion of about 1800 Christians to Hinduism in the town of Etah UP. These are the biggest controversies of Yogi Adityanath.
