We work to get money so as to buy the esteem need food for us but few people cannot earn enough to purchase the food items for the family. The government took this into the consideration and found the solution to this by making the food security card( Ration card). By the implementation of the scheme the people who were unable to buy food items now can purchase them as by owning a ration card, they can easily get the ration at the low price which is set by the government. The main items which they will get are the items of daily household that are rice, sugar, kerosene oil, LPG, pulses, wheat etc. So people get relief from the striking prices with the initiation of the ration card. Beside the card will also serve as your Id card.

T- Card
The Telangana government will also provide the ration card to the people who need them at a high urge and it will disclose the Identity of the person who will own it. So it has become a necessary document for the people living in the Telangana. The PDS(Public distribution system) aimed to focus the poor in 1997. When the Telangana separated from Andhra Pradesh in 2014 so it started its own plan to provide ration card to the people under the food security card. The process started in 2015.
Categorization for T- card
The Telangana state-issued ration card according to the public distribution system(PDS) which further in the state functioned as EPDS. The EPDS categorized the Ration card into major three categories as mentioned below:
- APL( Above poverty line)- The people whose annual income is above Rs.10k are provided with the card.
- BPL( Below poverty line)- The people whose annual income is less than Rs. 10k.
- AYY( Antyodaya card )- The card is provided to them who don’t have a stable income.

Charges for T- Card
There would be some charges for the T- card which are service charges for the ration card or food security card which are very less, you have to only pay charges of Rs. 35 approx. as service charges.
Time of processing for FSC
The food security card will be made as early as possible, it normally takes a time period of one month.

If you want to apply online then you can do so by following the steps given below:
- Open the official website of the Telangana PDS Or the link you are given on the page.
- Click on the link T- CARD PDS
- Search the FSC.
- Click on the option ration card.
- Fill in your details to check your ration card.
- Then you will be provided with an option “DOWNLOAD”
- Print the ration card.
