Self Redevelopment Scheme 2018 – Loans by MDCC
The Self Re-Development Scheme 2018 is launched by the Chief Minister Sh. Devendra Fadnavis. The purpose of this scheme is to re-development of the old buildings and flats in Maharashtra. Under this scheme, the suggestions, and guidance is given to the member of the housing societies and flat owners. Mumbai has thousands of old societies and buildings which are 40-50 years old are in very bad and dangerous condition.
Sh. Parvin Darekar the chairman of Mumbai District Co-operative[MDCC] bank has launched this scheme in the conference at Nariman Point in the Yashvantrao Chavan Auditorium. The CM instructed the senior officers of MHADA [Maharashtra Housing an Area Development Authority] to make a Single Window System. From this window, the owner of the flats allows to gets the permission required for the redevelopment project.
The MDCC Provides easy loans for re-construct the old buildings or societies. The bank provides funds and deposits money to the flat owners. For the awareness of this scheme, the workshop is conducted by MHADA and Co-Operative Bank. The CM is ordered the officers and bank members to conduct the Workshop. This workshop will help the flat owners to know about the loan policies. The Owners of the societies come together and take the project of redevelopment the old buildings and colonies in the city themselves. The 13 projects of Rs. 350 crore will be approved by MDCC. This project is executed by the societies members.
The MDCC formed a panel of architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants as the PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT. This panel helps and assists for the reconstruction of the societies. As payback for the loans, the society can give some flats to the bank and sell the flats.
