The Pensioner ID card is issued to all retired employee. The pension ID card issued to the person who is above at the age of  60 years. The proposal of issuing the pensioner ID Card is considered by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions. The New ID Card has a National Emblem. This proposal is cleared by HOME MINISTRY. The Pension Policy govern under the CCS[Central Civil Services]Rule 1972.

By the respective ministry/department/office is issued the ID card for the pensioner. This ID card has details like Address, Contact number, Date of birth, Designation at the time of retirement, and Aadhaar number. The details on this card are printed not written by hand. This card is laminated by the department. The employee gets the Pension ID Card from the department from where they worked. If the employee worked in defense or as an IAS officer they get the ID card from the concerned Ministry/Department. If the employee retired as an officer at the level of state government then they get ID card from the concerned State Government.

The pensioner gets the pension from the treasury department of the district or state. The pensioner has to submit the details in the form given by treasuries. The application form is available in the district or sub-treasuries. The form is also available on the website of state government

The pension card is produced for the grant of allowances to the pensioner. The procedure is granted by the  government of India are as- for medical examination, permission for commercial employment, for the refunds of the excess fee, to obtain the new card in the case of loss or damage of PPO, for transfer the payment from one branch to another, for withdrawal of the pension from the bank for sick or handicapped pensioner, non-resident Indian pensioner.

For the pension, the employee has to submit a claim to the Head Office eight months before the date of your retirement. The PPO[Pension Payment Order] reaches you before your retirement through your Head office. The process of your claim may take a long time for verification by the different authorities.

The pensioner can apply online on the government website http://www.pensionersportal.gov.in/ for the updates of information about the schemes. On this website, you get all the news of benefits, advantages, or other schemes regarding the Pension.
