Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme – 2018
Sheetal | SarkariNiti Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme is launched by the state government of Maharashtra. This scheme providing the scholarship to the girls who belong to SC/SBC/VJNT. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra Education Department provides financial help to the girls who belong to BPL[Below Poverty Line] for promoting education. The candidate who wants to take the benefits of this scheme also applies online and registered their name through the official website. The Official website launched online Application form. The aim of the scheme is to provide education to those girls who are from Schedule Caste or below to poverty line.
The government set an eligibility for this scheme such as only one girl eligible for this scheme, only SC or below poverty line girls are eligible for the scheme, income of the parents are not important for the scheme, the student studying only from government recognized school are eligible, previous year examination has to be cleared.

Under the scheme, the girl student from class 8th to 10th will receive Rs. 100 per month and student of class 5th to 7th will receive Rs. 60 per month for 10 months. For this scheme, some documents are required like Aadhar card, Xerox copy of bank passbook, residence proof of girl student and mark list of the previous examination.
This scheme belongs to the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance of MahaDBT. This scheme launched an official portal www.mahadbt.gov.in. The candidate can apply through concerned school only for the scholarship. For sanction of the scholarship, the Principal of the school will submit the list of candidates to the concerned commissioner of social welfare of their district.
