Great opportunity for the youth to work in Indian railway. The railway is the best platform for the youth to serve their life with dignity and can change their livelihood. This year Indian Railway open world’s mega employment to recruit against 89,409 vacancies in Group C and group D. Whereas a gap of four years is also accepted in the recruitment process. According to this Ministry of Railways had done changes in recruitment especially in the age, so that railway can able to give a better opportunity to the better brains of India. These changes especially include the age factor only. Indian railway increased the age criteria for two years in all categories. Due to language diversity in India, Railway decides to take Examination in 15 languages if India and candidate can also do signature instead of Hindi or English languages.

Eligibility and Condition to apply

Qualification must be 10th or ITI or equivalent. Whereas Age criteria for Group C increased up to two years for all categories. New age criteria for general category is 30 years, for OBC its 33 years and for SC/ST is 35 years whereas Group D the minimum age must be 33 for general category,36 for OBC and 38 for SC/ST. Whereas 500/- will be the fees and for non-exempt candidate 400/- will be refundable.
