For women, the state government of Kerala (Social Justice Department) has started a program for sexual awareness. This program, funded by the Central Government and the State Government, generates awareness on gender incidents of domestic violence, sexual harassment, and dowry demand etc. Various campaigns are being organized to create awareness among the young girls and women in the gender awareness program.
