Free Surgery Scheme Delhi- Recently, Delhi Government has announced a scheme called ‘Free Surgery Scheme’. Under which free surgery will be done in private hospitals, people who do not receive any response for surgery within one month of the government hospital.
Under this free surgery scheme, the Delhi government has tied up with 48 hospitals. Under the scheme, 30 types of surgeries will be provided free of cost to hospitals in Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida for referral patients by government hospitals.
According to the Free Surgery Scheme, the patient will have the option of choosing a private hospital. The hospital through which she wants surgery. All people can take advantage of this scheme even if they belong to any income group.
Via Eligibility Criteria for Free Surgery Scheme
- The patient should be resident of Delhi NCR to get treatment in a government hospital.
- In the context of surgery of 24 government hospitals, 48 NABH will be done in the private hospital listed in DGEHS accredited
