The main aim of the Deen Dayal Upadhay Swayam scheme is to financially help the tribal students in their studies and to develop the rate of literacy in Maharashtra and also pay tribute to Deen Dayal himself.
Advantages of the DDUSY
- Under the scheme, Maharashtra state government would provide financial assistance as follows
- Tier 1 Cities: INR. 6000 every month
- Tier 2 Cities: INR. 5000 every month
- Tier 3 Cities: INR. 4000 every month
- The medicinal students whose family salary is between 2.5 to 6 lakh for each annum and have taken training advance, the legislature will pay enthusiasm of the credit taken by them. The scheme is expected to benefit about 35,000 students in government and 3 lakhs in private colleges
