Debit Card is used to Paying for things. It is used instead of cash for purchasing. Debit Card is also known as the cheque card, bank card, or plastic card. Debit Card is issued by the Bank when you open your Bank Account. For using the card sometimes you have to pay. But sometimes it is free to use.

The debit card uses the money which is already in your account.  The debit card is safe or easier alternate for using cash or cheque while purchasing. It works for online purchasing or in-person. This card is also used at ATM. You can use this card for a transaction of cash, deposit cheque, get money, and see your account balance.

PIN code of debit card belongs to you. It has a security code. When you get the Debit Card the PIN code is given by the bank. You have to enter the PIN code while using Debit Card. The transaction from Debit Card is not free in the case of Foreign Transaction. You have to pay ATM fee for it. If you are using the ATM of another bank due to the network problem you have to pay bank charges for per ATM transaction. If your Card is lost or misplaced in that case you have to pay a small fee for getting another card. The Bank re-issue your card in case of expiry there is no charge for it. A bank charge in case of overdraft and non-sufficient funds. Your bank covers the transaction if you try to buy something or you don’t have enough money in your account.
