Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (MSBY) is a health insurance scheme launched by the Uttarakhand State for the citizens (Health and Family Welfare Department). The main objective of this scheme is to provide health insurance to the families of below poverty line (BPL) or above poverty line (APL) families so that they can get cashless treatment for critical diseases across the state. This scheme provides financial assistance to those patients who are living below the poverty line or living above the poverty line and are suffering from severe diseases in life.
In the form of scheme cover scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 which is covering 1206 diseases and the government has provided a package of Rs. 125,000 to cover critical diseases which cover 458 diseases. Is. The Uttarakhand government is making great efforts to provide better medical services to the people. This plan helps people suffering from hazardous and serious illness (cancer). This scheme has been implemented with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. The purpose of this scheme is to ensure that all medical facilities are being provided to the needy people.

Eligibility for CM Health Insurance Scheme
Applicants should be residents of Uttarakhand state.
All the beneficiaries are eligible for this scheme except all the poverty line (BPL) or the above poverty line (APL) families (in government salaries or government pensions or tax payers category).

Application procedure
The government has set up nomination centres on every block of every district of the state.
Applicants will have to go to the nearest enrollment centre to take advantage of this scheme.
