Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) – This scheme started in the year 2000 by the government of india. The main purpose of the scheme is to provide food security to the people who are below poverty line like poorest of the poor. According to the survey, around 20 to 30% of the population in india are suffering from lack of food availability and also the cost of securing food is very high. To avoid such situation the Government of India (NDA) launched the scheme. Under the scheme, improper survey list of states districts and urban and rural locations will be conducted by a separate department to get the complete information about the poorest of the poor and based on the survey report the population he will be applied in a specific manner to secure their daily food needs.
From the day it is started around, 10,00,0000 population are identified as the poorest of the poor and father’s population under the scheme the food security will be given by the central government. The computer scheme initiative and running purely by the central government official where state government involvement in the scheme is nominal. Under the skin, a very subsidized amount will be taken for providing the rice or wheat. For only rupees 3, the population of below poverty line will get the rice or wheat with the quantity of 25 kgs per month. This game is running very successfully since from the day it starts. After 2000 here it started, skin is the revised price in the year 2002 and 2003 respectively for adding more population who are below poverty line. Every time 50 lakh population are additionally added to the scheme and all the members are getting the subsidized food on monthly basis.
At the time of the scheme launch initially the benefits of providing subsidized food security started in the state of Rajasthan below poverty line population is very high and all the population is availing the subsidy that a very high response. In later on stages complete scheme applies to all the states in india. According to the people requirement and the food consumption, the basic food will be provided at a very high substrate.

Objective
The main objective of the scheme is to provide food security to the population who are below poverty line and don’t have a sufficient source of income to accommodate their daily needs. This scheme is largely designed for providing food security to the all the population who are listed as below poverty line and provides complete food security by giving a subsidized rate for foods like rice or wheat.
Depending upon the services and the selected population will get the subsidy ford in the locality itself.
Eligibility criteria
Eligibility criteria for availing the scheme benefits is just by following basic survey conducted by the government of india authority. Another server counts each and every person economical status and the livelihood lifestyle as well. These two factors majorly allowance the survey department to identify whether a family belongs to below poverty line or not. Based on the information furnished by the service authority the list of people who belongs to below poverty line and poorest of the poor will be categorized. Conclusion
According to the government of india perception, there is cross of the population who are below poverty line and among the people who are poorest of the poor or not securing their food needs, due to the lack of economic and unable to secure their financial status as well. To secure search family food safety, antyodaya anna yojana scheme launched in the year 2000 by the government of india which aims to provide every subsidized food for the poorest of the poor families across india.

If a family belongs to any of the states where the major consumption of food is in the form of wheat then the subsidy will be given on the wheat and the family who belongs to the states where the consumption of food in the form of rice will be given subsidy on the rice.
Is under process will be taken care by the ministry of food and safety in central government and also a partial part will be taken care by the state governments for allocating for the desired candidates and also maintaining proper records for further usage.
